Cool story bro where to buy
OK, so it was short And OK, it wasn't exactly plot-heavy We couldn't actually see much development between Travis and Levi The cool room idea was brilliant! And I loved the banter, especially between Travis and his straight best mate, Brayden - I believed in such a friendship right away! I even liked Colin at the end ; And so And all of this at a freakingly hot, Australian Christmas! I loved it! Jan 04, Ariana rated it it was ok Shelves: not-for-me , lgbtq , feel-good-and-fluffy.
We have some evidence that Travis has a crush on Levi, but I have no idea why, how and when Levi falls for Travis, despite the cool room, which is rather original. View all 4 comments.

Either way it's working for me. No rating, coz too short. But I had fun, thank you! Jan 04, Achim rated it really liked it Shelves: 1-contempory , x-short , 2-holidays , 2-new-adult , x-free. It's no drama eclipse and sex is nothing you can find on those pages, no virgin jock or witty dom Hm, if you consider a feel-good story about a homesick Canadian going into his first Christmas far away in the Australian summer nothing, if you don't care about the humane vibe on each page about a young Aussie with his not so secret crush but with a best friend with an odd idea about winter, then yes, there's not mu 3.

Jan 05, Sheri rated it liked it Shelves: f-r-e-e , ya. It was indeed a "cool story" I just wish it had a bit more oomph or had a few more pages. Short and sweet. Enjoyable treat. Thanks to the authors for the freebie! View all 3 comments. Jan 13, BWT rated it liked it Shelves: mm-fiction , Short, sweet, cute, and free? I have nothing to complain about.
Jan 07, Terri Jones rated it really liked it. This is a quick and entertaining read, with little depth but just the right amount of angst to sweeten the ending. I enjoyed the juxtaposition of Canadian vs. I particularly enjoyed the very different Christmas experience, on the opposite side of the planet, probably because I moved to Florida from Montana, which is a somewhat similar change.
Jan 01, Sarah rated it it was amazing Shelves: contemporary. This was brilliant. Absolutely adored it. Jan 02, Sheena rated it really liked it. I was right, it did make me laugh, it also made me go awwwww and have all the happy feels. Mar 07, Vfields Don't touch my happy! Cute but way, way too short.
Jan 01, Vicki rated it really liked it Shelves: mm. Loved this cute, quirky, fun and enjoyable read set is Australia.
I only wish it was longer so I could enjoy more of Travis and Levi! Jan 06, Garth Mailman rated it liked it. Pity the author feels all that profanity is necessary to make it sound authentic.

I thought this was an adorable novella by two wonderful authors : Cool Story, Bro is available as a freebie as part of the Winter Giveaway on Prolific Works. Levi, a Canuck, has recently moved to Perth, Australia with his mother and feels like a stranger.
They were supposed to be together embarking on a new adventure until a family emergency caused his mother to return to Canada. The I thought this was an adorable novella by two wonderful authors : Cool Story, Bro is available as a freebie as part of the Winter Giveaway on Prolific Works. The only bright spot is his cute co-worker, Travis, at Booze Barn. He's clumsy, adorable and for some reason, keeps running away whenever Levi talks to him. Working at Booze Barn over the Christmas holiday is torture with customers storming the store looking for alcohol and queuing at the tills.
Travis doesn't mind because he has some cute eye candy to check out. When he discovers that Levi will be alone for Christmas and is homesick, he decides to create a Canadian Christmas for him with some help from his co-workers. Sweet and really adorable men who are both awkward around the other and retail hell during Christmas made this such a great read! Loved it because these ladies are amazing authors Apr 10, Katherine rated it really liked it Shelves: winter-wonderland-shorts. Very fun short!
Between the awkward social interactions- one guy who falls apart talking to his crush, the other who is bad at small talk- and the craziness of the differences in the same damn language, it was equally amusing and touching. Moving ot a new place, even one you have always dreamed of, can still have its moments of homesickness. This was shown perfectly in this short, especially about the fact of it being for family and traditions rather than a resistance to change. The 'grand roman Very fun short!
The 'grand romantic gesture' was perfectly amazing and hilarious and the two were just a sweet couple. Great fun! Jan 21, Victoria Poulter rated it really liked it. If you want something to while away half an hour, then this is good. Jul 29, Sarah rated it liked it Shelves: queer-af. Short and sweet, I liked the banter and easy acceptance between everyone. Lost major points on what I hope was a misguided editor's call and not the authors lack of research, because when having an Australian and a Canadian discuss the hot weather, there is ZERO reason for "it's over " to ever enter the conversation.
We both use Celsius. If it's over , you're not in a figurative oven, you're in a literal one. Jan 02, Sairaika rated it really liked it. Cool story, bro appears to have taken off as a meme on 4chan in the mid to late s. By , it was well known enough to appear as a piece of graffiti in the zombie survival video game Left 4 Dead. The graffiti is next to a piece of heartfelt poetry written by one zombie-apocalypse survivor to another. Not even the end of the world will save us from trolls. The gaming site Destructoid commented that the characters in the game were likely 4channers.
The most iconic one features Hercules from Marvel Comics giving a thumbs up and a forced grin. This picture was in circulation online by By , Slate wrote about the meme and Facebook named a conference room in its headquarters after it.
It even gained enough traction to find use as a headline in the New Yorker in and the Village Voice in Cool story, bro is meant to be dismissive. A Slate article compared cool story, bro to the other favorite reply of the easily bored, tl;dr , but also pointed out that it can be used to brush off someone intentionally trying to rile people up. Fight trolling with trolling. Other images have been paired with cool story, bro , but they usually include someone giving a thumbs up or two.
Sometimes, there are additional comments in the image macro like tell it again or changed my life just to drive the point home. This is not meant to be a formal definition of cool story, bro like most terms we define on Dictionary.
