Where is jill during re6

He first appears in the much-maligned Resident Evil 6 as one of the many playable characters in that game. Jake is a mercenary raised in the fictional eastern European country of Edonia. Fighting alongside Sherry Birkin, it soon emerges that he is the son of a powerful villain from the original Resident Evil. Despite RE6 being underwhelming to fans, he is arguably one of the strongest protagonists in the series.

Ada Wong is a spy who first appears in Resident Evil 2. For all that is known of her through the series, much is also shrouded in mystery about the enigmatic Ada.

Powerful and always in control, Ada's allegiances are unclear and unstable at best, making her one of the more interesting protagonists in the series. Ada only becomes playable in Resident Evil 6, making her the oldest protagonist at age Helena is a relatively newer character in the franchise and hasn't reappeared yet in the mainline story, but there are many interesting facts about her in RE6 for the discerning fan. She's a tragic figure, who spends RE6 being manipulated by a shady organization known as The Family.

Piers appears in RE material outside of the mainline game series, but he is playable in RE6. Piers later rescues Chris from his spiraling alcoholism and memory loss by tracking him to a bar in Edonia and reminding him of his teammates and mission with the BSAA. He is tragically infected with a version of the virus on a later mission and sacrifices himself to save Chris. Sherry Birkin originally appears in Resident Evil 2 as a young child whose parents were both scientists employed in the original RE mansion laboratory.

After her parents are both infected and die, Sherry is rescued and cared for by Claire and Leon. Despite not being playable until Resident Evil 6, Sherry's time with Claire in RE2 means that much is known about her backstory.

Although she was infected with the G-virus as a child, she recovers and boasts a unique ability to regenerate. Ethan Winters is an engineer whose wife, Mia, worked for a bioweapons lab before she was abducted by a human mutant weapon she was transporting.

Ethan is introduced as a new playable character in Resident Evil 7 as he searches for his wife. The first thought that occurred to me when I first thought about this was that she's not a field operative anymore. She might have assumed an administrative position after what happened to her in Africa.

That would explain her absence during the missions in Edonia and China, but not the fact that it isn't mentioned anywhere in the files. Then I figured she might have died at some point between the events of RE5 and 6. It would explain her absence altogether, but once again, this should have been mentioned in one of the files, considering that even Sheva, a rather unimportant character in comparison, is mentioned.

My third guess: She has retired completely, is no longer a member of the BSAA, which puts her in a situation similar to Claire's. Even if she somehow figures out that Chris has gone missing, she doesn't have any hints or the means to track him down. While this solution doesn't seem very likely to me, it would explain her absence in Chris's campaign and her absence at the bar where Piers finds him and her not being mentioned in any of the files. But my real conclusion is that there's no logical explanation at all.

I think the developers were just unsure about Jill's future, so they decided to keep her out of RE6 completely so they couldn't say anything about her that they might regret later.

As for Piers, I don't see a problem. He was the one who found Chris in the end, but that doesn't mean he was the only one to look for him. Maybe Jill was part of another team searching a different place. Or she was the one to organise the search, but did not physically take part in it I highly doubt that Jill died.

But the fact that Jill apparently was dead in RE 5 made massive waves among many RE-fans, many were shocked that Capcom seemed to kill off Jill as a main character in between games. Luckily, they didn't, that's what we know now. And this is exactly why Capcom wouldn't do something like that again, at least not to Jill.

But I think you may be right about your last part. Probably the developers don't know themselves what's going on with Jill after the events of RE 5. Still, going through all this trouble saving her and then leaving her completely out of RE 6 sucks. No, I also don't think Jill died because first of all, bad weeds grow tall, and secondly, it would be awkward to kill off a major character off-screen, especially one that has just come back to life a game earlier.

Fans might wonder why she even survived RE5 then. Maybe she's in the upcoming Final Hope DLC where she went looking for Claire in order to find more info on Chris's disappearance before Piers found him, don't know. But I really didn't care that Jill didn't show up and I don't want her to show up ever again unless they change her god awful Lara Croft like face back to the beautiful Julia Voth face.

MetalGamer2 Survivor. I also took great notice of the fact that Jill was completely absent from RE6. Like Hel said, at this point Capcom is probably uncertain of what future they want for Jill, and so they just won't mention her until they have any good ideas. As for the story, I was completely fine with Piers taking the place of Chris' partner.

He ended up being a great new character, and was very impactful in Chris' campaign. Besides, just because Piers found him first doesn't mean that Jill wasn't searching at all. Also, Capcom should stop forcing every iconic character into their sequels. Originally posted by Martyr :. Originally posted by Archon :. I can only hope that Capcom would makes her as a Main character in the next installments.

I'd like to see new unexperienced character in the next resident evil. Last edited by Timur Jr ; 24 Jun, pm. Valkerion View Profile View Posts. Does not mean she will not come back but she really does.

In fact it gives her a good reason to "investigate" an infected area or something. I can understand taking a break from Jill after RE5's story though, but it is time for her to return hopefully.

Same with Rebecca, fans wondering what happens to her is one of the bigger franchise requests. Originally posted by Valkerion :. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 21 Apr, pm. When she does so, Valentine and Redfield make their escape from the sinking ship on a BSAA helicopter under attack by Malacoda, parasitic worms in the body of a mutant whale. Following the battle, they were given one more mission, to retrieve evidence incriminating the FBC from within the Queen Dido ' s wreckage.

During their exploration, the two found a section of the ship with breathable air, the few remaining unflooded hallways being the home of Il Veltro leader Jack Norman for the past year.

The FBC had, however, already beaten them to the ship. Norman infected himself with another sample of t-Abyss Virus and turned into a powerful monster dubbed "Ultimate Abyss". The BSAA agents could not persuade Norman that they were not FBC, and were forced to kill him in order to retrieve the evidence, which they found to be recordings of Il Veltro's meetings with Lansdale, proving that he had provided them with the virus.

Following Lansdale's arrest, the FBC was dissolved and all of its personnel and resources were merged into the BSAA and was reformed as a United Nations counter-terrorism organisation with greater jurisdiction around the world.

Valentine then became a Special Operations Agent and throughout her partnership with Redfield, the duo became engaged in various operations, including bio-terrorism interdiction in Asia, destroying bio-weapon laboratories in South America and arresting traffickers in Europe. Oswell E. Valentine and Redfield were assigned to raid the Spencer Estate and arrest him, hoping he would have information useful in the separate manhunt for Albert Wesker.

A search underground revealed a dungeon where numerous prisoners had been experimented on or left to die, with B. The two agents fought him, though he held the upper hand due to his superhuman abilities.

Believing Redfield close to death, Valentine charged at Wesker, throwing him and herself out the library window and down a cliff. BSAA reinforcements conducted a thorough search of the area, but found no sign of Valentine or Wesker, and on November 23, , they were both declared dead in absentia. Though badly injured by the fall down the cliff, Valentine was kept alive by Wesker, kept in a comatose condition at Tricell Inc.

Following his own experiences with talking to Spencer, Wesker began work on the Uroboros Project, a doomsday project which he believed would force evolution on the survivors via a Progenitor strain dubbed " Uroboros ".

The prototype version of Uroboros shared Progenitor's negative tendency to cause death within nearly all patients, making it impractical for use on test subjects. Nonetheless, Valentine was slated to be in the first batch. A mutant strain of the virus had in fact laid dormant in her body for the past eight years, and had activated during her time in a coma.

Valentine's body quickly fought off the mutant virus and created new anti-bodies, expanding her resistance to Progenitor strains.

This anomalous resistance made her worthless as an early stage test-subject, though was spared for further study. As work on Uroboros continued, constant monitoring on Valentine was no longer required, and she was released from captivity.

Wesker desired her for further scientific use, and made her a test-subject for the P30 Project, a counterpart to Tricell's Plaga Project, which intended to create super soldiers with enhanced strength, susceptible to suggestion. The drawback to P30 was that the drug, derived from Progenitor research, was quickly metabolised and excreted.

As Tricell had no data on the effects of a long-term trial, a specially-manufactured device was attached to her chest to periodically inject her with the drug. As the Uroboros Project reached completion, and Tricell made plans to carry it out, Irving made use of the Kijuju Autonomous Zone as a test-bed for bio-weapons. Starting in summer of , the Ndipaya tribe were implanted with Type 3 Plagas as test subjects, and by the start of people within the city of Kijuju itself were made hosts of the Type 2 purchased by rebels, who sought to use them as a recruiting tool for an insurrection.

Valentine was ordered to protect Irving in his planned business dealings. Valentine strangling Irving before giving him a Dominant Plaga sample - March, Over the next day, Irving rigged the oil field with bombs to be set off if the BSAA caught up with them. In the event the pursuit continued, Irving was provided with a Dominant species Plaga egg to inject into his own body.

Arriving at a cave system, [69] Valentine made her way through the old ruins of the Ndipaya kingdom and towards Tricell's facility, meeting up with Wesker at what was once the palace of the Ndipaya kings, through which they were to gain passage to the coast, where a Tricell tanker was waiting to pick them up.

Redfield and Alomar, who were in pursuit of Gionne, also reached this palace. After seven minutes, Wesker ran out of time, and caught up with Gionne, leaving Valentine behind to deal with them.

Still weak from the fighting, Valentine stayed behind and urged the two to continue on. Having returned with helicopter backup, Valentine warned him about the tanker, and agreed to come with him, as the helicopter was their only means to intercept it. Though they made it onto the helicopter, Doug himself was killed when rebel forces carrying rocket launchers made their move. At Valentine's urging, Stone piloted the helicopter away from the dockland in search of the tanker.

Flying over to investigate, Valentine helped pick up Redfield and Alomar, who were fighting Wesker, himself mutated from Uroboros infection. Supplying the two with RPG-7s, they succeeded in killing the bio-weapons developer. After returning from Africa, Valentine was taken into a BSAA lab to undergo various tests due to her vast exposure to the various viruses, and Wesker's experiments.

She e-mailed Burton about her boredom from these tests, saying that she was eager to get back out into the field once her rehabilitation was completed, gave him some advice on how to make peace with Moira and hoped to receive a return party in style.
