What is pre selected mean

Hi Carmel, Have been preselected as well, i assume it means they've shortlisted us and have to audition i'm guessing? I got the same email. The fact that it was a general email has rather put me off a bit. What you think? Well not too sure have looked up the company and they don't seem dodgy they are an established company who apparently have seen have people like Joanna Lumley, Adam Garcia, Francesca Annis so they must be ok?

I think that they've probably got a list of people for each part and since it's going to be shot on an island there will probably be beach scenes and they wanna see what their artists would look like before they invite them for audition, to save on both theirs and our time.
